SMS Terms & Conditions
By providing your mobile phone number and affirmatively opting in to an APT Foundation text messaging program, you agree to receive SMS/text messages from APT Foundation at the mobile number you provide.
The types of messages you receive will depend upon the specific program, event, or communication for which you provided consent.
Purpose of Messages
APT Foundation text messaging programs may be used to provide fundraising and donor communications, event invitations and reminders, event-related updates, volunteer opportunities, community engagement information, organizational news and announcements, and other communications described to you when you opt in.
APT Foundation will use your SMS consent for the type of communications described when you enrolled in the applicable messaging program.
Consent
Participation in APT Foundation text messaging programs is voluntary.
By opting in, you authorize APT Foundation to send SMS/text messages to the mobile number you provide. You confirm that the mobile number belongs to you or that you are authorized to use it.
Providing a mobile phone number to APT Foundation by itself does not necessarily constitute consent to receive recurring promotional text messages. Consent will be obtained through the applicable SMS enrollment or opt-in process.
Consent to receive recurring fundraising or promotional text messages is not required as a condition of making a donation, attending an event, volunteering, or receiving services from APT Foundation.
Message Frequency
Message frequency will vary depending upon the program, campaign, event, and communications for which you have enrolled.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier and service plan.
Third-Party Messaging Providers
APT Foundation may use third-party messaging providers to deliver SMS/text messages.
Your mobile phone number and related messaging information may be securely provided to these service providers solely as necessary to deliver messages, administer the messaging program, or provide related support services.
Mobile information and text messaging opt-in consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Privacy
Information collected through APT Foundation’s text messaging programs will be handled in accordance with the APT Foundation Text Messaging Privacy Policy – External Communications, available on the aptfoundation.org website.
Opt-Out
You may cancel SMS/text messages at any time by replying STOP to the number from which you received the message.
After submitting a STOP request, you may receive a confirmation message indicating that you have been unsubscribed. You will no longer receive messages through that SMS program unless you subsequently provide consent to enroll again.

APT Foundation reserves the right to modify these Text Messaging Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on the aptfoundation.org website with the applicable revision or effective date.
Continued participation in a text messaging program following an update will be subject to the then-current Terms & Conditions, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
