APT Foundation, Inc. (“APT Foundation,” “APT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information collected in connection with our text messaging programs.
This Text Messaging Privacy Policy applies to individuals outside of APT Foundation who choose to receive SMS/text messages from us, including donors, supporters, event attendees, volunteers, community members, and others who opt in to receive communications.
Information We Collect
When you enroll in an APT Foundation text messaging program, we may collect your name, mobile phone number, SMS consent and opt-out records, communication preferences, and information you voluntarily provide in connection with an event, donation, registration, inquiry, or other interaction with APT Foundation.
How Information Is Used
Information collected in connection with our text messaging programs may be used to send communications that you have agreed to receive from APT Foundation.
Depending upon the program or campaign for which you opt in, these communications may include fundraising and donor communications, event invitations and reminders, volunteer opportunities, community engagement information, organizational news and announcements, and responses to inquiries or requests.
We may also use this information to manage communication preferences, maintain consent and opt-out records, provide customer support, maintain security, and comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
SMS Messaging
Participation in APT Foundation’s text messaging programs is voluntary.
When you opt in to receive SMS messages, your mobile phone number may be provided to authorized third-party service providers solely as necessary to facilitate message delivery, administer our messaging program, or provide related support services.
Mobile Information and SMS Consent
APT Foundation does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Information may be provided to service providers acting on behalf of APT Foundation when necessary to deliver or support our text messaging services. Such service providers are permitted to use the information only for the services they provide to APT Foundation.

APT Foundation takes reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or misuse.

APT Foundation may retain your mobile number, consent records, communication preferences, and related information for as long as reasonably necessary to administer the text messaging program, maintain appropriate business and compliance records, or fulfill the purposes described in this Policy.
If you opt out of SMS messaging, APT Foundation may retain information necessary to document and honor your opt-out request.
Your Choices
You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to a message from APT Foundation.

Opting out of text messages does not prevent you from participating in APT Foundation events, making donations, volunteering, or otherwise interacting with APT Foundation through other available methods.
