SAVE THE DATE – APT Cares: An Evening of Reflection and Relationship Building
We invite you to join us on Thursday, May 21, from 5 PM to 7 PM at New England Brewing Company (NEBCO) in Branford for an informal evening of reflection and shared purpose.
Over the past several years, APT Foundation’s public health campaigns have worked to reduce stigma, expand access to care, and bring greater understanding of opioid use disorder. This gathering offers a moment to reflect on that work, and on the people at the heart of it.
Too often, when someone suffers from opioid use disorder, it becomes difficult to speak openly about their life. Conversations can feel constrained by stigma, or by a sense that remembrance or honor is somehow too much, or out of place. We believe that should change.
This evening creates space to learn more about APT services and meet the dedicated and expert APT senior staff who direct care for the whole person at every stage and for every challenge they face in their journey of recovery.
We will also share a preview of our next campaign, which continues this work by affirming a simple truth: Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) = care. APT Cares.
We hope you will join us for small bites, tastings of NEBCO’s Connecticut-made beers, wines, and spirits, a sharing of APT program details, a preview of our upcoming public information campaign, a silent auction, and thoughtful conversations.
