Administrative Associate for Busy Medical Office: Full-time 37.5 hour, Monday through Friday, benefit eligible. The primary focus of the Administrative Associate position will be to provide administrative support to the day-to-day operations of APT Foundation’s Central Medical Unit. Key competencies include: the ability to manage high call volume and scheduling, excellent oral and written communication skills, ethical practice, ability to maintain confidentiality of client information, ease of multi-tasking and problem-solving. This position has no supervisory responsibility. Other competencies include the ability to use discretion and good judgement at all times; the ability to act in accordance with agency policies and objectives; planning skills; and attention to detail. Excellent Customer service skills are required.
Professional Requirements: Associate’s Degree and/or 2 plus years’ experience in a call center setting. must have own transportation. Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Provide group and individual counseling to patients receiving Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) through a comprehensive, recovery oriented and trauma informed treatment process. Meet weekly with Clinical Supervisor and/or Program Director to review caseloads, and for clinical supervision and professional development. Participates in weekly treatment team, counselor and staff meetings to review patient treatment plans and reports to facilitate patient interventions and agency initiatives. Attendance is punctual and reliable, and necessary absences are planned in advance.
Professional Requirements: BA or BS in Human Service field, CADAC or CAC Certification + Experience.

Professional Requirements: Master’s Degree + licensed by the state of CT (LPC, LADC, LCSW, LMFT). These licenses preferred but will consider an individual with their Associate License: LPCA, MFTA, LMSW. Must pass all Department of Corrections policies, requirements and background checks. Must have strong working relationships with community providers. Must have valid CT Driver’s license. Attendance is punctual and reliable, and necessary absences must be planned in advance. In addition, the ideal candidate must be willing to work in a high stress environment, must be able to manage multiple competing tasks, and demonstrate competency as a collaborative team member.

Under the direct supervision of the Nurse Supervisor, the Staff nurse serves as a member of a multidisciplinary team, providing services to patients receiving Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD).
Professional Requirements: The ideal candidate must possess current and validly censure as an LPN and have a valid CT Driver’s License. Prior experience in the mental health and/or substance abuse field preferred.

Food Services Associate: Full Time 37.5-hour week, + benefits. Scheduled determined by program need. The Food Service Associate is supervised by the Food Services Coordinator and is responsible for the day to day food services operation at our Residential Services Division. Must act in accordance with all USDA, DPH, Child Nutrition program standards and Regulations. Attendance and reliability are a crucial function to this position. Weekends and holidays are required. Must maintain patient confidentiality and all times.
Professional Requirements: Valid CT Driver’s License, State Certification in Safe Serv and HS diploma or GED required.

Staff Psychiatrist – General Purpose: Under the general direction and supervision of the APT Medical Director, is responsible for the psychiatric care, including care for substance use disorders of patients at the APT Foundation. Provides direct services and clinical supervision and performs related administrative duties. Provides scheduled periodic-on call consultation for after-hours calls and psychiatric emergencies and arranges care as appropriate and on-call consultation for MOUD dispensing and admissions. Is responsible for appropriate documentation of all medical/psychiatric services in accordance with agency policy and procedures.
Professional Requirements: M.D. degree and Connecticut license; minimum of 5 years as MD. Must have Addiction Psychiatry training. Experience in providing medical education preferred. Must possess DEA License and waiver.

Patient Care Associate (PCA) Positions – Residential Setting: Full time 37.5 hours per week + benefits. 2nd shift schedule, 3-11 including weekends. Under the general supervision of the Program Director and Residential Coordinator, this is a front line position maintaining appropriate patient traffic flow within the residential setting, including but not limited to: greeting and checking in all patients, providing appropriate diagnostic tests as required by staff, and entering data into APT’s patient clinical management system. Must be comfortable administering urinalysis tests.
Professional Requirements: Associates Degree or 2 years post-secondary education, or equivalent combination of training and education.
